Signing for a Court
The courts at 7 Oaks are utilized and rotated on a first-come, first served HONOR SYSTEM. It is a simple system based on honesty and the ability to tell time, should require no supervision.
- Everyone must sign for their court with the time and the players listed on the sign up board.
- One player may not sign up for a court. There must be at least 2 players present to sign and occupy a court.
- You must use the current time on the clock by the chalkboard. You can not add 15 minutes for getting to the court and warmup before play.
- Players on court may not change their initial 'start' time or have it changed by someone else.
- A new player entering an existing signed court may not change the initial time on the board. This includes adding 2 players to a singles match to play doubles.
- Do not sign as "Team Practice" or "Practice Match". Only club events take priority as designated by staff.
- Time limit for both singles and doubles is 1 1/2 hours when players are waiting.
- Waiting players should list their intentions by signing on the bottom of the sign up board as e.g. "waiting...Smith"
- Guest of members may not sign and occupy a court. They must wait for the member to be registered to play
- Adults have priority on the soft courts
- Juniors have equal priority on the hard courts.
